The Karen Hill Tribe Lodge is one of Thailand Great Tours projects in which local Karen Hill Tribe communities fully participate in culture activities. We are happy to reunite Hill Tribe families and their villages with the return of elephants and sustainable tourism to the area. The Lodge is a traditional Karen Hill Tribe style accommodation with European home comforts. How to go to the Lodge.250 km from Chiang Mai. 18.99017 N 98.2795 E* One way Private transfer by 4x4 with driver and gasoline, 4,000 Baht* By renting our 4X4 ( 2000 baht/day including Driver but not including gasoline )* By local transfer - Take local transport to Arcade bus station - Then take mini van to Pai, then take bus from Pai to Wat Chan (12 am) - Arrive at Wat Chan, we can arrange 4x4 WD to the lodge ( cost 1500 baht round trip transfer )During your stay at the lodge, we have staff which cater to you if you would like to do some soft adventure or some activities such as, walking the jungle trail, visiting the waterfall, fishing, shrimping, hunting for wild ingredients, etc. We also offer you the opportunity to feed the elephants, enjoy elephant riding and also elephant training, but these must be arranged and are optional. |
